Hello i am new for the motors need help

I have 400 standart 2barrel engine and i am thinking some
Freshing it .maybe edelbrock e street heads ?75cc or 85cc (which one and why)?
Standart pistons (flattop)and rods maybe under 3mm under top.and new top end kits .budget motor .what intake and carp?thank you

Edelbrock is a great chose, i would buy there Top End Kit

for an 8:1 compression budget engine i'd just take the existing heads off, clean them up, and mill them .060". add an intake and carb and go motoring.
