Anyone try this Dustless Blasting ?

hi a customer bought a dustless blaster and rented a 375 cfm. compressor. it was the biggest mess you could ever have! what do you get when you mix sand and water MUD!!!!! I've been cleaning this car for 4 months of all the residue from the ordeal! dry blast for me from now on!!!

I built a contraption to hold my blaster gun inside a 2" shop vac brush while the vac was running.

Worked fairly well but ended up not using it because I couldn't see the area I was blasting.

I even had a return system for the media that emptied back into the hopper.

I have also heard about the aftermath when using the dustless blaster. It was like a mud/slurry concoction. Good luck.

Last year a guy (Business Owner) in Phoenix AZ was selling his DB500 or DB800 for sale.
His was an early one with the better/bigger diesel compressor (now the DB company offers a smaller engine)
I went to the my Credit Union to get the $$ using my savings as a way to reduce the loan interest.
He paid $37K and was selling in for $28K
It was almost brand new.

I secured the $$ by 5PM, sat on back patio with my "Boss" (wife), called him and he said a guy in Glendale AZ just bought it!
