Hi all. I know that many of you will laugh, but this is what I have: a 1969 Dodge Coronet 4 door that needs a lot of love. Yes, I consciously bought a 4 door. They are way cheaper and 4 door cars need love too! I am getting older, and most of my friends do not want to deal with climbing over a seat to go to dinner or whatever, so I got the 4 door so it would be easier for me and my older friends to get our creaky bones in and out of the car!

I have to say that for being a 4 door, the 69 Coronet still looks pretty damn good! Plus, I really want another classic Mopar on the road daily!

welcome , got a 4 door 60 dart myself (aussie assembled 170 made )

Welcome from MI. Load some pics when you have a chance.

Nothing to laugh about - four doors are Mopars to. We've seen cars with no doors on this site. Welcome and show us what you're rolling with.

We had a 4 door 72 Chevelle! Where abouts do you live? I live in Sonoita!

Do not be ashamed........it's still a Mopar!
Now please post some photos.

Welcome, and If you need it, I would love to build your motor for you. I am over in Whetstone, by Sierra Vista...

Welcome. Need pictures.

Thank you all for the replies!

Let me try and reply to all in one post. I am in Green Valley, AZ just across the Santa Rita mountains from my AZ brothers in Sonoita and Sierra Vista! I am not ashamed of my car, I just know that the 4 doors do not have the cool factor of the big block 2 door cars. I used to have a 67 GTX clone with a 440 and a 4 speed and a slant 6 71 Dart. So far, I do not need an engine rebuild, but if that comes up, I would be happy to talk with the person who offered to build an engine.

Oh yeah, now for a few pics, and trust me, it looks better in pics than real life :)

Welcome to the site she sure does look good if I seen it on the road I'd wrench my neck to get a better look at it

Welcome from Alaska! I have a 69 Coronet also and proud to see you bringing her back to life. I have had the same thoughts before in getting a more door. I looked for over 6 months at a 68 4 door Coronet before the 69 2 door I bought popped up. She looks to be in great shape (much better than mine when I got her) and you have come to the right place. Show us more pictures of the interior and under the hood please.

"more" doors are gaining in popularity daily!!!!! they need love too!! cool car ya got there. good ole desert sheetmetal!!!!!!! how has the interior fared???
