Hello everyone,
The time has come to sell my 1972 Dodge Charger. I am looking around and am seeing a wild range of prices, from $1500 to $20k. So, my question is, how do I go about determining a fair price in addition to what is the best method to sell? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

A 72 is priced slightly higher than a 73 which is priced slightly higher than a 74. However, a 72 is priced lower than a 71 which is priced lower than a 70.

Hope that helps.

Stick a price you want on it and advertise it. You know what the range is now, pick a number and run with it. If you phone blows up with messages and calls, you've got it priced right, or ,maybe a little low. If all you hear are crickets, you have it priced too high. Pretty simple. Good luck.

Or the NADA price guide

http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1972/Dodge/Charger/2-Door-Hardtop

pick your combo & options

it's not the best but a place to start

middle of the road market shows between
$7500 & a high of $14k {kind of high IMO} for a decent well represented
base 318ci auto column shift, low option car, no A/C, no 4 speed, no SE etc.

or try sites like http://www.autabuy.com or other sites

enter your criteria & see what some others are listed for...

where you live may very well dictate what kind of price range too...

A Calif. car or a southwest car are "generally" worth more...

I really hate E-Scam {E-Bay}, not real fond of Craigslist either,
but you may want to check for pricing thou...

good luck

The correct way is to look at the comparables, when it comes to a car that was mass produced in huge volume.
