I bought the woodgrain dash pieces from PG Classics and they look great. The problem is that I do not believe they are for a R/T. My 1969 Coronet R/T has screen holes with a black border while these pieces do not have the border and have tabs on the back side for installation. Am I correct that these are not for my 69 R/T? I think they are for a later model such as a '70. IMG_0845[1].jpgIMG_0846[1].jpgIMG_0847[1].jpg

Maybe these are for a rallye dash while I have the standard sweep speedometer?

This.

I really just wanted to replace the two pieces that are missing below the hockey stick shaped one to the right of the glove box and its counter piece on the drivers side.

So, I have two questions hopefully someone can answer. My R/T is missing the two rectangular pieces below the top dash trim pieces on the passenger side hockey stick (picture shown) and driver side little L shaped one (not shown) next to the sweep speedometer.

Do trim pieces go on this bottom part of the dash or am I mistaken?
Do I have rallye trim piece with the tabs on the back and no screw holes?

Thanks

I think the pieces you are referring to are the pieces that would cover up where the AC vents would be if it were a AC car. These pieces on my GTX are not woodgrain. I have 2 new ones at home if you'd like me to take a picture of them?

Please do take a picture. I have two sets that are incorrect for my R/T. If you look at my first picture, there is a spot below the hockey stick looking piece that has R/T stamped onto it that would sit to the right next to the glove box. There is a screw hole there, but no trim piece.

The wood grain goes on top of the standard black trim. You would need to get the black trim piece and then put the wood grain on top of it. I don't know if the piece to the right of the glove box is the same on both dashes. I could check when I get home. I may have that piece.

I will try to remember. I know it's a black piece with a raised silver edge. Just had my hands on them last week.

PG Classic sells the black ones for the rallye dash but not for the standard dash. The raylle ones are too long.

Sorry I'm a day late. If this is what you need PM me. I'm going to a AC dash and don't need theses.

The aftermarket wood grain parts (as far as I know) are only available for the Rallye Dashes. I will say the pieces you got from PG are a lot better looking then the kit for my 70 Plymouth that I got (and returned) from Classic Industries...I sent that kit back the first day I got it......it was just pure "junk".....that piece you have in the photo (from what I can see) looks more original and well made.

As mentioned that new piece is wrong, and below would be the A/C vents or black block off plates shown above.

Well, I will be listing these parts to sell this weekend. They are very nice and look great, but will not fit my application. I have the radio bezel, above the glove box hockey stick, and two sets of the lower trim parts that sit below the hockey stick piece and its counter on the drivers side.

I will be selling the new unused pieces that are for a rallye dash that do not fit my sweep standard speedometer or whatever it is called that I bought from PG Classics. I will keep my original woodgrain R/T pieces.
