I am going to apologize in advance if this has already been talked about but is there a disc brake conversion kit for my 1969 Plymouth GTX that will fit a 14" rim I would prefer to keep the rim size but if there are no options I may look into buying 15" rims I am open to answer any technical questions if they arise any help will be greatly appreciated
-thank you

Have you looked at Summit for options? I have a Right Stuff set-up. Bit it seems most people prefer Wilwoods. Check either out.

I used a SSBC kit on my '68 Charger and they fit fine with my 14" wheels. They sell several different brake kits, so take a look at their website to make sure you get the right one that will fit with your wheels.

How do you like the Right Stuff brake kit? I'm part way done with their 4 wheel disc conversion. The rears are done, and I'm rebuilding the front suspension at the same time doing the front brakes.

I like RS just fine. I had a problem with fitment on the rears because of back spacing on the wheels I bought at the same time. Something had to give - it was the rear discs. Went back to the drums on the rear with the front being RS. Hate to do so but it was a judgement call. Sounds like you already have the RS. They should work just fine for you.

I have looked at summit there are mostly 15" wheel options or is it that they will still fit with a 14" wheel ?

I thnk you have options of either or. Call the Summit tech line. They're very good and can validate you're needs/options.

Look again - many of the SSBC kits will fit 14" wheels - I've got one ordered for my '67 Coronet R/T that will fit 14" wheels -
It's not that hard to find the right kit....

I'm doing the same upgrade but am going through Dr.Diff for whatever I need. So far he's recommended his stage 2 kit, a new booster, prop valve, and I decided since I'm doing the brakes anyway to just upgrade the master cylinder I have to the aluminum unit. He's pretty responsive through email, just waiting on a couple more questions to be answered and I'll be ordering today.
