This project started out as a modern Bullitt clone but quickly got off track. It has a 6.1 from a 06 SRT8 Charger and a 545RFE Auto trans from an 07 Ram. Rear gear is 3.23 sure grip. It looks pretty stock except for the Carbon fiber rump stripe and LED tail lights. Other upgrades are 15" Magnum wheels and front disc brakes. TTI headers and 2.5" X pipe and tail pipes. Some suspension upgrades are a Borgeson Power steering gear, 1.3" Torsion bars, a rear sway bar and bilstein shocks. In tank fuel pump with a 3/8" source and 5/16" return. The battery is trunk mounted. I added console activated power windows, a GPS speedo and replaced the Amp meter with a volt meter. Headlights are wired off of the Alternator with relays to relieve the firewall of some of the load. I still have to get the A/C plumbing done and a few tweaks under the hood but it is ready to abuse some cameros and rustangs as soon as the Wisconsin weather complies and the winter sand and salt gets cleaned up. It has been a two year project and started out as a 383 auto / air car that had been heavily molested by a shivvy guy.
(Black under hood paint, Burgundy paint on the body with a green factory vinyl top green interior and some high back buckets. Some scabby metal work and lots of missing parts and a 69 grille)
Anyway, here are some pics of my efforts. 100_7601.jpg100_7602.jpg100_7603.jpg100_7616.jpg100_7617.jpg100_7618.jpg100_7622.jpg100_7623.jpg100_7624.jpg100_7625.jpg100_7627.jpg100_7630.jpg100_7644.jpg100_7643.jpg100_7642.jpg100_7641.jpg100_7645.jpg100_7653.jpg100_7657.jpg100_7662.jpg

Turned out awesome Ed. Kind of wish I would have put a carbon fiber stripe on mine instead of black after seeing yours. We will have to get the 2 together this summer for a couple of pics.

Very nice. Mine will be outdated, by the time I finish it.

That's awesome looking. Like the stripe and the LED taillights. Great work. Congrats.

No offence to anyone on the site but that has to be one of the best looking builds I have seen to date!!!!!! The car looks like it was born that way! Excellent quality build!! Thanks for posting.

nice looking project, congrats on nearing the finish line.

That is what I have been thinking too Joel. Need to do a photo op with the Brides. I plan on showing it at Mopars in the Park. Are you planning on going?

Thanks for the nice comments guys. It has been a frustrating project at times but a few kudos ease the pain

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. It has been a frustrating project at times but well worth it when you get kudos from a great bunch of guys that have great rides of their own. Thanks for the help from this site as well.

That's a great looking build....I bet there's a load of guys who would love to have something that nice. :headbang:

Wow that came out awesome! Love the modern Hemi, X pipes and the rump stripe is a really cool touch. Beautiful car!

I tried sending you a PM but it's not showing up as sent? Is your inbox full? Anyways I'm willing to sell the panel you asked about that's on my car, it's already painted and ready to bolt on. Thanks

Thanks Dev, inbox is no where near full. just got a pm from another member this morning. As you can see, my car is ready for the panel. I will send you another PM. Don't know what the problem is.

Great looking Charger. I've always wondered what the tall front bumper guards would look like on my '68 but could never find a pic. I think they look great...now I just have to find a set..
