Best color on a 1969 charger

I am about a month away from painting my 1969 charger.. Still trying to decide on a color. What's the most desirable color on a 1969 charger?? I have considered black or orange at this point. Not terribly crazy about the original color so that's out. All suggestions appreciated!! Thanks!

I have a 69 that I'm restoring also. There have been many posts and owners questioning themselves on colors. I myself have decided on Plum Crazy Purple. I know it wasn't available for the 69 Charger but mine isn't original or numbers matching so I just decided to go with what I like. So I say just go with what you like. It's your car anyways. Just keep in mind that if you go with black you better make sure the car is straight because it will show all imperfections. Good luck with whatever you go with.

As far as factory colors, turquoise, spring green, B5 blue silver and that metallic brown they had are all nice colors. Arctic white is a color you don't see too often on a Charger, but it looks damn striking.

If you go orange, be prepared for all the General Lee questions..not that it is bad. A friend of mine has an orange charger without the decals. He gets asked all the time why he didn't finish it. Drives him crazy after several years...

However, silver would be fantastic. Imo

My vote would be for T5 copper. Whatever color you choose, I would lean heavily towards a hue that would have been available for that model year.
