I needed to get the old gas out of my Roadrunner's tank and went looking for a pump to use. I tried using one of those POS squeeze jobs they sell at parts stores and that was worthless.

I found this at Home Depot. It's made by a company called Arnold. I watched a couple of youtube videos, and they suggested that the pump works fine but the hoses suck, so I went to Home Depot and got the pump for $12 and a 10-ft length of 1/2" OD and 3/8" ID vinyl tubing for about $4 that I used to replace the orange tubing that came with the kit.

I slid the hosing into the gas tank, worked the pump twice, and had gas flowing out at a good clip. I drained off just shy of seven gallons in about 2-3 minutes per gallon. Worked very well for the price.

Good post as I did the same thing to get a tank full out of my Coronet. The pump worked great and YES, the hose they provide is about a one time shot. Replace the hose as suggested and it will be a worthwhile tool for future use. Thanks for posting this!

2-3 minutes per gallon? Wouldn't it siphon at a faster rate than that?

I have a couple of those also. Use them for getting 80 -90 weight in my 4-speeds. They go on sale at Harbor Freight every once in awhile for 5-6 bucks.

The piston seals on mine are a problem. Worked good for a while. It can not be taken apart to try to fix..............Harbor Freight..........................MO
