Awesome project. Id think you'd want to upgrade those wooden spokes to something that can handle the weight of a modern engine. I hear Brazilian Walnut is pretty strong (and lovely to look at).

HAHA no, I have a set of steelies off of a 67 Dodge truck. My wife wants me to make end table out of the woody wheels.

Great idea on the end table. I'm making a lamp out of the cam from my 413. Camshaft lamp would look killer on your woody end table.
Cool, I do a lot of industrial artwork using various old car parts.
Paper towel holder made from pallet wood, old pipe and gauges and the license plate added a little classic decoration.
I just picked this up Sunday at the Fitchburg MA swapmeet. Radiator is good, has a fan shroud on the back and the top is brass. The ratrod will look great with this.
I just picked up a pair of old Dodge Victory Six headlight buckets from a local swap.
I also found someone that had the two front doors. So now the body parts list is pretty much complete.
