Bendix Brakes and Rotors

I need some help guys. I saved a 67 Belvedere from the ONE DAY monster and I am trying to get it road worthy before I selling it. Its a police package car with BENDIX 4 piston brakes. They are shot. What can I do? Thanks in advance!

Shot as in how? Rotors shot? Calipers frozen or leaking? Pads are reproduced for these in semi-metallic or you can possibly still find NOS ones. They do repro the one piece rotor with cast hub and the repro rotor for the two piece hub / rotor set up. Bearings are also still available.

Caliper rebuild kits are available but you have to look for them.
Calipers, on the other hand, are extremely hard to find. I have them on m'68 GTX and, in 20 years, I've only been able to find ONE caliper.

The A-1 Cardone calipers DON'T fit right out of the box.

Everyone sells them as a direct fit but the ONLY thing that's direct fit are the two attachment bolt holes.

The mounting bracket for the steel brake line cannot be attached to these metric calipers. (Yea, the bolts are all metric tread)

You CAN weld a 5/16" nut to the heads of two of the caliper bolts to attach the steel line bracket and they'll function but they're not an easy caliper to install.

Dual or 4 piston calipers? Bendix calipers were 4 piston units.

sorry answered too fast ben up of 24 hours 2 on each side makes 4 bendix style they are 4
