I have a Frankenstrat (Stratocaster). This is not a cheap amateur imitation. I got it from Ed's guitar tech many years ago, he assembled it by recycling various discarded parts when Ed would break things.
Floyd Rose, Gotoh tuners, etc...only thing missing is the quarter and the two sided tape pick holder strip. Looks absolutely perfect and plays great!
I cannot say it is for sale because of copyright laws but make some kind of an $$ offer.

It just sits in the case.....somebody can use it, make me a decent offer or trade something.....guns, money.....?

Do you have a letter of authenticity from the tech?

Who made the neck? (Fender?)
What pick ups does it have?
Is the body alder? Ash? Basswood?

Just a couple of Emails from tech.
Don't know about the neck.
Humbucker, the neck pickup is a dummy.
Ash body.

I wish I had time to play my stash of guitars! too many hobbies, b-bodies and machine tools are at the top of the list these days

If that's a true Wayne Charvel San Dimas strat, the neck should be wider than a Fender neck.

You should take that to Pawn Stars.

You're reasonably close and I'm sure they'll "know somebody" that can help authenticate it.

I have the lowest serial number "MIJ" Charvel strat in the Jackson/Charvel registry.
Bought new in 1986.
Different animal than yours, but shares some of the same characteristics and designed by the same hand.

They'll probably call Cowtown Guitars on Main Street. Cut out the middle man. Take all documentation and the guitar to them and see what they say.

...but then the OP wouldn't get to be on TV :)

OP does not need to be on TV.
I should have asked Rick Harrison about my guitar when he was standing next to me at the Hoover Dam visitor's center last week.
