Best color on a 1969 charger

I'm just about to finish my 69 Charger build. Like you I agonized over what color to paint it. I ended up going with a non original color because the car was not numbers matching and I put a lot of customizations on it with a hotchkis suspension, different interior etc. so I figured an 'original' color was not really necessary. I attached some pictures, this is a Mercedes 'Brilliant Silver.
On the other hand I have an original numbers matching 69' Roadrunner that I stuck with an original color B7 Blue. Love both colors....its really about what you want. But unless you are a 'numbers matching, gotta have the right sticker in the right place" kind of guy, its really about what you like in my opinion.

Either the Bronze or the 70 Burnt Orange is my favorite. I like Black, but I'm afraid of the high maintenance trying to keep it clean and scratch free.

Can I ask what color is the interior ? Because I would choose a color that complements the interior

I painted mine with a Lexus color that was the same general hue as the original color. It's a black Garnett Pearl. Which means it's a very deep maroon with Pearl in it. I decided it's my car and has been for 45 years I'm going to paint it a color I want. I don't give a **** about the next owner. Gets lots of compliments.

There are sooooo many new car colors out there that look fabulous and would hold up better with a few extra coats of clear. Why limit yourself to OEM? It's your car - make it happen...... Decide yet?

R6 Red. Hard to beat a red 69 charger.
I have q5 on my car now, originally it was r6 red, and will go back to red someday

I agree with the "it's your car" posts. Who cares what the most desirable color is....What's color do YOU desire? That being said, I choose a Ram color. Deep cherry crystal pearl
