My nephews bought one. Works ok for some things but I'd rather use a floor jack and stands, because it only lifts that high anyway. Useing a creeper is only accessible from the front or back. And you have to find a place to keep it when not in use or leave it in the middle of the floor.
I see many advantages. Less time to lift/lower verses using a floor jack and stands. Less effort too. Portable. When folded flat may be able to store under a work bench/table,or on a heavy duty storage shelf, maybe hang on a wall. I would like to see some reviews of current owners and find the pros and cons.
I like the looks of those stands made of 2 x 4's. would have to be so much studier than jack stands. ,, with that wide base, and surely plenty strong???? I admit when I finally get a concrete floor to work on, will be great!!!!! ha
You can pick up those lifts on Craigslist cheap.
I got one last week 400.00 lifts 6k about 4.5 ft. No your not going to use it for a trans job.
My plan was for body work but have found already it's a perfect adjustable work bench
