debating a wheel color change/look...thoughts?

also if i go body color/dog dish, what do you think about going black wall side out?

 
I went back and forth with this question till my mind blew up.

Went with Cragar's and spinners. Sometimes you just gotta say WTF.

It's all in what "you" like..One guy I know puts red steel wheels and white walls on everything,no matter the body color.Some like white letter. I'm a black wall guy and body color with dog dish. I do plan to change it up a bit on a grey car with B5 blue wheels.It may look like crap but won't know that till we try it.On my Valiant the plan is black rims, black walls and dog dish.It's body is Mopar lite green old and faded for now.
 
What ever you do, post some pictures. And hurry, I can't wait.
 
You gotta do what you like best. But I will say I love this look on the 69-1/2 six pack Runners. Redline tires and chrome lug nuts with black steelies looks bad on them ! Ron

On my 63 I went with the period look of Torque Thrust up front and black steelies out back but thats more for the 62 to 65 period look. I think the body color and dog dish caps would also look good on your car as I also think the redline tires and black steelies would also. Ron

Partial to the body color/dog dish look myself....Id say with your tires, blackwall out...

Lately I've been grooving on the black wheels / chrome lugs / white letters look. Painted many stock wheels black back in the day...
 
I would try the dog dishes on the black rims you have first. I think that would look pretty sweet. Then maybe consider the color option. I'm sure it'll look good with whatever you do.

Love the white letter on steelies look but mate convinced me to try redline on Steelie done today and happy I left Comfort zone.
 
What did you end up doing djais1801?
Thanks for heads up on demon graphics, newish to Mopar and thought it would look good, being from outside USA never realized it was a demon thing. Cool to know though now.

I sold the Roadrunner she went to Maryland...What's next for me? Not sure yet. it's gotta have 3 pedals for sure and be turn key...

Sounds good mate, id be neck deep in a 70 runner if not my 68 net. Love them pistol grip shifters too.
