Roadrunner of old

welcome to FBBO HEMI road runner don't get any better than that

Welcome to the site! That sounds like a real special Roadrunner. I know we are all dying to hear more about it. As mentioned already if you are on your computer all you have to do is click the upload photos button that's right next to the post reply button. It will open a little window and allow you to find the picture you want to share and attaches them to your post.

Many thanks for your help, djais1801!! Now for some details: what is the capped hole on top of the wiper motor? Never seen anothe one...also, the dash vin rivets are different, and the back of the door openings are finished smooth. Finally, the cold air box is orange and not black and the hood stripes don't reach the fenders...other than that, all is okay!

Sweet ride

share them on the general discussion forum too,
lots more viewers there too, I'm sure that'd like to see them...

Looks like someone cut a hole to run extra wiring or a cable-driven tach or something else in days-gone-by.

Car looks absolutely awesome, and I'm sure there's a few envious folks out there drooling on a keyboard.

Thanks @djais1801 for the picture share.

Remember a couple of things: first I got the car in Jan 1970, and it was totally unmolested; second the hole is certainly a factory hole, since it's perfectly formed like other holes and the plug is the same as other plugs. I don' believe that somebody could put such a perfect hole in the firewall after the car was sold. I must conclude that it was factory made and left for some reason. It is definitely weird.

isn't that hole on some 69 chargers

Oh she's sweet alright. A hemi, b5 blue, 2 nd owner back in the day. Love it. Never sell that car!

The hole in firewall could be from being a factory test car with extra wires or cables run through it. I had seen it done on a 93 Grand Cherokee when it was brought out as a new model.

Keep us posted on your progress and welcome from Texas! Incredible car and backstory!
