Hi,
I have a 1976 Cordoba 400 engine. I have done some minor upgrades.I have changed to poly k-frame front clip isolaters. I have put on new alloy wheels and tires. Its Rocket injector hot rod wheels 8"x15" 235/60-15 front and 255/60-15 rear. I had to use spacers on the front, to clear brake caliper.

New Edelbrock intake manifold and carb. I got rid of some of the pollution stuff.

Any suggestion what kind of exhaust headers that will fit ?

When I bought the car I also got hold of a floor shifter console kit. Anyone done this change ?
Is it a straight forward job ?

Nice.

You can't go wrong with TTI for headers and complete exhaust.Yes they are expensive but worth every penny. It's best to replace the engine mounts and tranny mount at the same time, that way no clearance issues with old saggy mounts.
First photo is my 79 300 (no headers)Second and third is my 64 Belvedere. They look great, fit great ,and are sure to last a long time.

Great looking car! I also agree with the tti headers well worth the money. And do that when you do the floor shifter swap and you won't have to worry about modifying your column shifter linkage.

These later B body MoPars take and use all the older B body parts except in the suspension area. Rubber biscuits inbetween the K frame and 2 that wrap the rear springs and of course the longer T bars. But otherwise, all the old tricks apply.

Thanks a lot for your advice, very appreciated. Changing the exhaust system and floor shift will be done as a winter project. I have some other smaller issues I try to sort out and I start collecting parts.

This summer I am looking forward to many cruise nights !

Very nice ride with 83/4 gears Your 400 looks perfect. Were able to locate the red interior material or are your seats original? I have a black 78 magnum 400 with a red interior. I want to recover the bucket seats. If you have a source or who I can contact regarding material I would greatly appreciate the update. I also own a 75 blue Cordoba with a 400 same bucket seats.
Thanks Robert/Colorado

One thing I noticed on my '77 Cordoba with a 400...when I put on headers I had to greatly modify a linkage on the driver's side....maybe a kickdown linkage? It's shaped like a soccer goal and one leg of the goal had to be cut, angled out & re-welded, just a heads up.
