I've read somewhere that the gates 20355 is the hose to use on a 64 b body with big block,
As you can se it is way to short.
The radiator part no is listed as b body 318 1964 radiator.
The car had 383 from the factory, now 440.
Does anyone know which hose will fit?

I'm running a totally different setup 69 belvedere with 451 and non-stock radiator, so I can't help you with which hose will fit, but here's what I did...

I found one that was close, cut I up and modified it to fit with pvc fittings (so it fit perfectly) and then went back and matched one up just right.

This is the one I used, try:

upper 3462114 NAPA 7602

IIRC it's listed for an E-body but works in a 67 Coronet.

I know it's not a 440 or a B-Body, but when I needed a top hose for my 360 powered A100 Wagon, I just took a homemade template to the local Parts Stores, and went through all the hoses until I found one that was close. I ended up with a GM hose that was about 2" too long...easy fix, cut the hose down and tore the label off....fixed.

you have the wrong thermostat housing to use that hose, the early cars had the taller housing that curved forward. it was made of cast steel.

The original rad in my 64 318 has the top hose connection near the center of the rad. Are you sure the rad you are using is for a 64 sb? How wide is it? I thought the stat housing in 64 is the same for both sb and bb which angles forward but I'm not sure how that would work with the hose to the far right on a bb. I'm looking for the same hose soon.

yes, the no on the radiator is 2445633
The list shows 316, but I believe it´s a typo, maybe 361 is correct?

Using a trimmed Dayco 71281 in my 440 a-body with a 26" radiator.
Radiator is 8-1/2" cap center to inlet center............

I have a 440 in my 74 Satellite but my upper radiator hose goes to the driver's side and I had to use a totally different car which was the Cordoba upper hose for mine.

The local auto parts stores does not have any molded radiator hoses in stock, they used to have about 5-10 years ago, so making a template is pretty much useless.
Interested in what brand and part no. people are using for the upper hose, so I can order and test.

2X on the Napa 7602. It might appear that it is touching the distributor but it's not.
64 Belvedere, big block, 22" radiator.

Found an old hose laying around in my parents garage.
Part no 4266292 / 42095J
This hose fit with just minor trimming at radiator end.
Will post a photo.
