Time for a show lets see the 71-74's

Wow, I had no idea that so many roadrunners were still on the road! I have lived in Northern Colorado for 16 years and have never seen a '71-'72 at a car show and only a couple of '73-'74's!

Purchased my tawny gold metallic RR in NE Nebraska back in '79 for $1200. Parked on the farm in '87 and drove it 10 miles to a friends farm in '98 after rebuilding the calipers. I have no place to park it in suburbia and cannot afford the restoration at this time.

Some of my auto's from mainly the late seventies-eighties...

'71 LTD (First car at 15 but wanted a muscle car)
'72 RR (I usually parked it in the winter but I did install all-terrain tires on slots one year)
'69 RR (sold)
'69 RR Convertible (sold it to my friend 20 years ago and it is still not on the road)
'65 Fury I (swapped the slant-six for a 318...sold)
'57 Mercury Monterey (sold before getting running)
'96 Indy Ram (then and now)
'05 Crossfire

Mine is FINALLY done! 28 months, more money in it than I care to think about , let alone the hours spent day after day getting it back in shape. Now to have fun and enjoy driving it. 74 RR- formerly a 360 car but had a 1968 383 in it when I got it. 4 speed, 3:55 sure grip. B5 Lucerne Blue Metallic. Changed interior to black from original blue and added Satellite roll down rear windows.

WOW your car looks great. Has it really been over 2 years since you started the rebuild?

Yep bought it in Jan '14 and tore it down. Met you during that winter and have been working like crazy on it since. Once you get past the bodywork and paint- it's a breeze. Looking forward to HPAC show in June to finally show it off. Went last 2 years to see everyone else's cars in the show and now they get to see mine.

I'm starting to love to love that green that everyone loves to hate :)
