While restoring my Coronet I have found that the rear quarter window had been broken in the past and the rear quarter and rocker are filled with glass. I have the interior gutted right now but I am not seeing how I can get the old glass out of these hidden areas. Is there a way? I was thinking of drilling a new hole in the bottom of the rocker and plug it with a body plug but that is a last resort.

vacuum, an air-hose, and patience.

I have all but the last :). I have not been successful in getting the vacuum positioned were it does much good.

can you get anything in there to push the glass towards where the vacuum could suck it up?

I usually tape some 5/8" heater hose to the vacuum hose attachment and if anything you can use it to pick and debris to pull it out of the hard to reach area. Flushing the area with water can help to get the dirt out of your way and loosen up stubborn or jammed pieces.

Use a high powered shop vac. with the narrower attachment . Stuff rags down in the rockers from the inside to limit the area you are drawing air from. I took heavy wire and bent a curve in it , so I could loosen up the glass wedged in the bottom where you can't see it. ..............................MO
