From my 68 Coronet 4 door part out listing:

For sale is a Mopar 340 engine, May 9th 1969 build date. Original block and racing X heads. It has a 1972 340 4bbl. intake. The carburetor is an Edelbrock 1407 2411. This engine ran under my watch before I pulled it out. I have a YouTube video to provide you that fact. The 340 has the OEM distributor that has a points set-up. The engine had headers instead of the stock manifolds. Does not have the OEM air cleaner, instead it has a chrome aftermarket air cleaner.

Numbers:
Engine stamping LH head front: EW340P28420079
Casting LH bank: 2780930-340-8
Heads: 2531894 2.02/1.60 valves
VIN: 162734

EW340P28420079 equates to:
E = 1969 Year
W = Windsor engine assembly plant
340 = CC
P = Premium
2842 = May 9th 1969 Mopar Julian calendar 10,000 day
0079 = built sequence number of that day

Perfect candidate for those needing a period correct 340 engine for your Dart GTS, Barracuda or whatever your restoration calls for.

The engine was in a 1968 Dodge Coronet 4 door but not original to the car. I have pulled it out. Like I mentioned earlier I can provide you with a YouTube video of the 340 in the car running for interested parties.

340 engine $1800.00
Air cleaner to oil pan, Edelbrock carb, alternator/brackets, motor mounts, W/P pulley/spacer/fan blade(non clutch), distributor(points), fuel pump, coil, throttle bracket.

Not included with price but available are: headers, flex plate, P/S pump/brackets(sold).

More pics upon request.

340 engine is located in Las Vegas, NV. Local pick up only. I will cooperate with your shipper/transporter and deliver it locally to their designated pick up point.
