TTI or dougs headers?

Got rust on my TTI's, also near the flange. Fitment was great otherwise.

Planning to pick up a pair of bare Doug's when I hit Spring Fling in April, checked for fitment and then have them coated locally.

TTi sells stainless steel headers, never worry about rust again, only $2,000.

I just installed TTI on my 69 plymouth GTX along with 3" exhaust. Spark plugs are a breeze to install. You have to remove the engine mount bolt on each side and jack up the motor. put a board under the oil pan and jack away. Both sides slipped right in. on the Drivers side if you have a 4 speed you must leave the header loose at the flange under the car and leave the bolts loose so the header can move out so the Z bar can be installed.
You will see where some dented the header or modified the Z bar. I installed this entire setup by myself in a day.

I had Hooker headers that were a 2 piece to fit around the torsion bar. Installing spark plugs was always a pain with these headers. Had to pull the headers back away from the heads every time.

Now 10 minutes to install spark plugs with the new TTI headers.

My TTI's are ten years old. Outside storage. There was a single ding-will-do-ya on the passenger side due to touching the idler arm. 50,000. miles. Some surface rust where the tubes merge. They have been slammed at high speed and the collector can scrape on rare occasion like those filler ports at some gas stations. They are intact and still working fine otherwise. Runs cool and sounds good as day one.

My dougs Fit perfectly and no rust to date going on 3 yrs, ceramic coated..

on 440 motors alot of people say REMFLEX gaskets are the best as 440's have leak issues with some...mine did with hooker super comps....
I HAVE REMFLEX HEADERS GASKETS ON MY 66 CORONET WITH HOOKER HEADERS. THEY ARE THE BEST HEADER GASKETS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD AND EVERY MOPAR GUY SHOULD ONLY BUY THESE REMFLEX HEADER GASKETS. NO LEAKS, ABSOLUTELY. BULLET PROOF. BEST INTHE WORLD...AM I CLEAR ENOUGH.

Take my stuff apart more than most. Thats why I ask. Now for headers I value equal lenght primaries highly. Some thing many companies seem to have forgotten.

T T I. Buy from a FBBO Vendor, not direct. Ceramic coated keeps under-hood temperatures 100 degrees lower than others I have checked.
Where do I find this FBBO Vendor? I'd like to make the TTI purchase hurt a little less.

I have Doug's and though they are not bolted on the motor I did bolt them to my RPM heads and clearance was great.

Remflex are the best header gaskets I've used since 1963. Yes that's correct 1963. I would think you could reuse them if they came off cleanly from either the header or the block when you remove the headers.

I like Remflex used on my collecters, but they're a bit fragile .

Remflex! X2!!

The 2" TTI's fit the 440 in my 65 great. Did not have to move the engine, just drop the center link and starter. Slipped in from the bottom. AND they are made in their Corona factory, not overseas or across the border[ unlike many others with no lessening of the price to reflect the labor/material cost savings]. I put a set of coated high dollar Hooker units on a guys Camaro, $600+, did not fit very good AND made in China. WTF!
