Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to quickly introduce myself. I'm from Ottawa, Canada and own a 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury, 383 4 speed, black with red interior. I grew up in the old car scene but I'm new to owning one myself. My father was always a Mopar nut and got me hooked. I look forward to chatting with the rest of you.

what is the toggle switch next to your ignition for. I have a hole in my dash right there and I'm trying to find out what it for. Any help would be appreciated.

It's to get the wipers to return back to the off position. For some reason the previous owner had a hard time getting them to not stop in the middle of the windshield so he installed this toggle which brings them back down all the way. It's a little strange.

Belvedere side trim and no center consol????

yes its belvedere side trim. the owner before me liked the thinner trim. luckily he kept all the sport fury trim which I have. originally the car was a floor shift automatic but was switched to a 4 speed with no consol. I think it looks tougher without the consol. apparently from the VIN you cant tell whether it's a 4 speed or automatic. Is that true?

Not from the vin only from the fender tag or build sheet. I actually like the look without the consol too.
Does it have the fender tag?
