So, being that Dad's birthday was just before Carlisle, I figured I would find something out at Carlisle for him to which he agreed. Well, figuring that I might not find anything that he needed out at Carlisle, I came up with a contingency plan before hand. I contacted Robert Kotan of JRK Illustrations, Inc about possibly making up a drawing of Dad's 69 GTX vert. Here are the progress pics for everyone to check out. I'm pretty sure Robert is done with it at this stage and am awaiting to see what it will cost to also have some shirts made up too as that is a service he also offers.

thats his exact car. The detail that Robert Kotan draws is absolutely amazing ! I've never seen anyone get chrome looking as good as he does with colored pencil. It actually seems to have a shine to it.

The pic below is from the pic that Robert took of the car out at Carlisle.

True, I didnt look at the Chrome but it does stand out, especially with the background art, would be crazy good looking on a Tee. I have T7 Bronze Bird I'm going to have to look into getting something like that done.

Robert said the T3 (Honey Bronze) was really hard to do as the car looked gold in sunlight but under different lighting could look bronze / brass colored.

Nice gift

Does he do that on a regular basis or what
Yes, Robert is a professional artist. This is his living. His business name is JRK Illustrations, Inc. He is from Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

Heres is lithograph that Danny Witfield does, very similar to my A Body

I love how Robert did the old car dealership in the background and used the Plymouth promotional slogans and artwork from back in 1969 also. Its the little details that make the artwork that much more impressive. If you compare the pic taken at Carlisle and the finished drawing of the car, not even the smallest detail is left out.

from his web site, its a bit generic, but you pick the car and then you can request changes such as interior color or whatever, been trying to talk myself into getting this one for my office,

Thank you Steve. My thought was that it was something he doesn't have and its unique.
