My '72 has factory A/C (which still works great with original charge) but no passenger rear window sticker. The window may not be original to the car.

my 74 Dart Swinger came with A/C from the factory, and it does not have the sticker. I do not know if the window has been changed though.

I think 72 was either the first year without or the last year with.

My 73 does not and should not.

I kind of like them, though.

My uncle worked at AirTemp in 1969 for about 6 months.

Was laid off, and then recalled..........in 1984!

I'd like to know myself. My 72 Satellite Sebring Plus didn't have it when I bought it but the windows were tinted so I assumed it was removed. After taking the tint off I put one on it.

Great info! Love the Airtemp article.
My 70 Swinger has dealer installed a/c. I need a new sticker but no-one repops these.

I've seen just a small few of those dealer air stickers. Different and cool (literally).

My Uncle did work at that plant on Webster ST, which all the employees and folks in that neighborhood still called "AirTemp" well into the late 80's and early 90's.

This got side tracked: Does anyone know the answer to the original question???

My 1972 Road Runner, with a/c, had no sticker on the window. I know this for sure as (a) I am the original & only owner, (b) all the glass is original.

I might add when I restored the car I replaced the V twin compressor with a newer Sanden unit and R134 refrigerant. Also replaced the evaporator but kept the both the compressor and evaporator "just in case".

They repop the stickers. I would put one on. Right or wrong I would consider it correct. I looked at a lot of cars this weekend at the Nats and saw a lot of stickers. Sorry, I didn't pay attention toRT4ever's year and model.[/QUOTE]
