does anyone know of a shop that either makes reproduction front grilles or can fabricate a custom set of grilles for my 70 coronet/bee?

They were repoped for a very short time just a couple of years ago. not sure, but I think they make 500 sets. They were a little different then the originals in that the fragile surounds were formed solid with the grills (that always break) added. They looked okay to me but weren't 100% correct. Check Ebay.

i have been looking... if anybody has a link let me know...i'd also be ok with customs that are not true to original....if someone knows of a shop who can make them...
 
I don't think anyone re-pops the grills, but decent sets can be found online. I usually clean them up, fix/fill cracks and then re-paint them.

Custom grills would be pricy, but I'm sure someone could do it depending on what you wanted and were willing to spend.
