Man I would sure trade places with you today. I am not much into crowded places but Sturgis started today and I would like to be anywhere but here! At least you have cars where you are and not LOUD motorcycles buy the 10's of thousands.

My friend Ken flew out and went with his brother.Last I heard he was 2nd in RT & et in his brothers MOPAR. He came in 2nd,,,,,,,

I trailed 5 Harleys from Jackson to Kirkwood on the way here over CA 88. They were going to Sturgis.

Yeah kind of a mess here...small community's and picture 250 to 500 thousand bikers here all week long. I like cars not into motorcycles. Cars cant move because most bikers don't really care about traffic laws when the rally is on.

I lived in Reno for 15yrs,lots of good memories of HAN. I will be there next year if I get my car done. My buddy said the car count seems to be up from the past few years due to the economy.
Mobbed. Everywhere. Hotels full etc. Great weather for a change. Way home now, Fallon, Nevada. Stockmans Casino. Best Prime Rib in the West. $26 meal for two here would be $100 in San Jose. And not as good.

Well Dennis...Thanks for the tip on Stockman's. As I write this I am in the process of finishing up my Pre-Approval package for a VA Loan to purchase a new residence in Fernley NV. Had it with the Draconian way this State/CA is being run so it is TTGTFOOH and Fallon is the best place for me and my budget. Looking at maybe buying in Golf Cub of Fernley community and others. But for the bucks and freedom I will be able to enjoy, then after some shake downs on the '66 Ply Sat I just might be showing up to HAN in the next year or so. Hopefully I won't have to get rid of it but if I do, then I will put the 440 I have to good use and build another. But any way thanks for the pics and the info...cr8crshr/Tuck

I used to live in Fernley and would go to Fallon to shop. Raced at Fernley and Top Gun outside of Fallon plus you can get lost with all the BLM trails.
