Has anyone used the Magnaflow kit on there B Body? Was looking at kit 19303 and head pipes 19304.

Looking for comments on fitment and sound.

Thank you.

My dad has the Magnaflow header back system on his 70' Challenger and it sounds soooo wicked, I bought one for my A body and made it fit.

Go to a real muffler shop and have them custom cut and bend the piping, it will be cheaper, cleaner looking, without all the clamps. I have Flowmaster 40's, they are a little loud for some.

I got a kit from Jegs and did it myself. put it together with clamps from the tailpipes back then welded it. local muffler shop quoted me $700 with no mufflers. Not gonna happen. Plus the Kit is mandrel bent..

I got lucky from the time I posted this until the other day. I was trolling looking for a kit and a website called hotexhaust.com came up with an instant discount code. Paid $500 shipped to the door for the Magnaflow kit I listed above. I have a TIG welder and plan to put most of it together that way. I'll report back when I get it installed later this year.

My local guy that does exhaust does OK but it's still a $700/800 dollar adventure. I like the look and sound of the stainless. It was either Magnaflow or Pypes and I had real bad issue with Pypes on a 1st Gen Camaro. If you can't get a 1st gen Camaro kit right...

My pipes were 2 bens, and I think the flowmasters were less than that. Here is the sound.

That sounds great, nice car too.

Not sure what happened to exhaust list but even the Flowmaster kits went up, $$$.

I love magnaflow mufflers, they sound awesome
I've never used an entire kit from them but I know the mufflers sound amazing on a 360 or a 408, don't see why it wouldn't sound great on a big block

I have the Pypes Stainless 2.5 inch kit on my 71. I used Magnaflow 18 inch body mufflers with it. I love the sound.

I tried to put the head pipes on to my factory manifolds last night and they won't push on enough to get a bolt started. I measured the ID of the new pipes and they are almost 1/4" smaller than the pipes that came off. More elbow grease required, or maybe try to expand it a bit with pipe expander?
