No, its crazy to not expect that price for ANY nice Superbird these days. They aren't makin 'em anymore, ya know. I've seen lots of them sell for well over $100k for years now.

Currently at $148,000. I'd say it's value is between $150,000 and $200,000. The owner probably wants $250,000. Nice looking car.

if it had console and buckets it would be worth 50.
the bench , column shift hurts
I paid 22k for my bird so 80k is a laugh

With all due respect I disagree. I'd like to see you find any decent Superbird for 50K. I am not saying I am a player at the prices these things are getting, or even that I tthink they are worth it. What I am saying is the market for nicely restored Superbirds seems to be well into the 100s and up. It is what it is...

This Daytona pulled 550k not sure if the Daytona is worth more or less.

If you think 80k is a ridiculous amount, then I'm sure you would be glad to sell me yours for that.

It's not a column shift. It's a 4 speed. The carb he has for it is coded for an automatic, not the car.

What a view

It happened. I didn't say when.
you see my little avatar pic to the left.

Yeah, I see it and I know you didn't say when. That is entirely my point, you are talking 40 years ago and you probably don't have it anymore. Just a lot of distant memories and tall stories now huh?

Back to my original statement, the car in the ebay ad is VERY nice and will sell all day long for $125k to $150k. (or more)

I don't know what a nice original is worth in todays market. I can tell you a nice clone done to be everything an original would be is a very expensive build. I built mine as close as I could from a satellite sport and end result was 55000.00 invested. It is not easy and for sure NOT CHEAP. If you buy quality parts for any mopar you pay! Just the name of the game.

There not cheap . I've been watching them that car is in the firm $200000 range if it's the color you want maybe a bit more I e seen them up there

You guys need to look a lot harder at that car. Basically what is wrong with the picture. Lot of NOT Mopar stuff on the car, missing stuff it should have, etc... Regardless of what a real and original car is worth, when a car is no longer got the right stuff how much is it really worth. I just got done looking at a reasonably priced V code 4 spd in the right colors and interior. One owner car and numbers matching. Problem is...no numbers on body. Dash Vin rivets wrong, only has paper work for 20 years not 46, duplicate title and despite lots of correct parts, also lots of incorrect parts and major metal changed out and not done correct. So would you even pay the reasonable price. You really need to see the car and the paper, before you try to price a car.
