anyone out there with a 68 charger, who would be willing to measure a stock leaf spring front mount. i bought a old race car that was changed a bit, looks like the guy added heavy springs and a custom front perch, kinda threw the rear end back to far (about three inches) from where it needs to be with the new stock springs.

Looks like someone had put SS springs in your Charger. The SS springs have the A-body 20" front segment length instead of the B-body 22" front segment. That's why the longer front hanger is used in the B-bodies. Just beware that the stock Plymouth B-body hangers have a different length than the stock Dodge B-body hangers have.

I have a good set taken off my 68 Coronet which might be the same hangers, if you would like to cover the shipping.

So it looks like you have to click on a users avatar and start a conversation, I was having the same issue looking for a 'pm' link. ;) Here is what I have both sides.
