While I'm not quite as "senior" as some here (I'm 48), I've spent pretty much my entire life figuring out how to do "two man" jobs with only one man.

(see my post about installing two 10x8 roll up garage doors by myself)

You must have an awfully heavy jack, as I would think the weight of that chunk hanging that far forward would want to tip it over.

I thought the same thing but I have an old Lincoln that would probably do it....that sob is heavy as hell to the point I went and bought a China made aluminum jack. So far so good with that doing other things but I doubt it would do that chunk like that lol. I just hate buying China made junk......but at least I can pick it up without my back complaining.

I figured that before I took the chance of hanging it first.

+++1 to all above.. And back when I was 18 or so putting 4-speeds on chest and putting it right in bell housing. 67 now just doesn't get it now.

work alone! ha! just find one of those women ( younger?) that loves to work on these old cars, spend time with ya in the garage, doesn't mind getting a little dirty, greasy...... hey, there are out there!! But, someone told me just in a few parts of WV maybe??????? or was it Mt??? or was it Vt????
