I really like the looks of the Foose Nitrous wheels and was wondering if anyone on here has any on a 71 B body. Just want to see how they look before I buy them. Thanks.

If Foose comes anywhere near my car I'll call Law Enforcement.

The wheels aren't bad looking. I have problem with the size. I don't really like the 18 inch diameter rims on the older cars (don't even get me started on the larger diameters.)
My vote is NO.

Foose, Luv what he does to the other ford or GM muscle cars, just wish he wouldn't mess MaMopars designs

For one thing this is posted in the Resto-mods & Pro-touring section so the bigger wheels in general are what people like to run. I like what Foose does. There's been a couple Mopars that I've liked what he's done to them and a couple that I didn't care for. For me I may go up to a 17'' wheel, at least on the back, someday but for now I'm sticking with the 15''. But to each their own in my mind. If you like the Foose wheels then I'd say go for it, it's your car and money. Good luck with your decision.

THANK YOU!!!!!
I've never understood these guys??? The guy posted a question about some rims he likes in the proper section where all you ORIGINAL guys shouldn't even post if it's always negative, c'mon guys:poke:. I like the larger rims as long as the ride height is adjusted accordingly, big rims on stock ride height looks corny to me lol. As far as the nitrous wheels go I've never cared much for the torque thrust look on muscle cars but that's just me. That particular style is made by many brands, you could probably find a cheaper option threw another brand. Check out BOSS rims, I think they call theirs 383's? Good luck

Here they are and they are called 383's. They have some really cool colors for the centers as well, very affordable!

Go with what you like, its your car. I liked the Foose Nitrous wheels too so that is what I went with. Mine are 17x11 on the rear and 17x8 up front.

There's a few different Foose Nitrous wheel designs {here's 3 below}
I like the 5 spoke design not a big fan of over 19's on 60's muscle cars
but depends on the size & stance too
not really into the bolts around the perimeter styles either
but you can get them with or without...

the 383's are for the disc brake design
have that extra clearance built into them
I'm not a big fan of the arching the spokes design either...

I've seen far worse too

after all this is the Resto-Mod & pro-Touring section where this stuff
is accepted as norm & not usually ridiculed either...

Not a huge fan of the Nitrous rims from pics, but they actually look really good on yours. Might be the angle too, I think it is straight on that gets me. Its the same for a lot of the big 5 spoke wheels.

Generally I like a stepped rim on muscle car wheels, big and small, which is what throws me off a lot of larger rims. I actually test fit a set of Japanese made Work rims on the weekend that I have left over from my last car with 1" bolt on spacers. Not 100% on them yet. Really would like them wider and with less off set / back spacing... but I am growing on the look more and more...

I like the look. Picking out a set of wheels was the most difficult item for me. There are so many choices. I went with the 17" wheels only because I wanted larger discs.

Yeah, That red 68 Coronet looks pretty sharp.

I'm running boss wheels on my 71 Bird. 17s on the front, 18s rear. Had a lot of good comments about how they look.
