I have 15-year old Mexican manufactured Coker red lines that are getting pretty hard, make some noise and need re-balancing. I need to replace them. The Corvette guys really bad-mouth Cokers and favor Diamondback tires but it looks like Coker's redlines are now based on BF Goodrich tires or Uniroyal's. Has anyone purchased Coker's lately? Satisfied with them?

Those original Coker redlines were horrible & could never be balanced. I got mine from Diamondback & they're nice.
 
i have the coker/bf goodrich red lines. i like them; except the price.
 
Can't afford them. Run the less-cost Coopers.

The french ones were Good, The mexican ones were awful in every aspect.
Ruined bearings and hubs, threw wheel covers, etc.
Just bought a Firestone G70-14 Redline from Coker last week, and it seemed fine.

Corvette guys bad mouth anything that isn't NOS or corvette specific. Take what they say with a grain of salt, as their views on anything to do with anything non-corvette specific seem to be "skewed"

Very strange individuals, I don't understand it or them...

I have a set of 17" coker/BF Silverton redlines. Aside from the 250$ apiece plus shipping they look and ride nice
 
I'm running the Diamondback Maxuum Redlines (had them a year now), they had a better speed rating than the BFG. They ride very nice, but I'm not thrilled about the tread pattern creeping over into the side wall, kinda makes it look like a 4x4 tire. And traction for my big motor sucks. Maybe the BFG Redlines have better traction.

What size tires are you running on your Bee?
 
I have bought a set of Coker redlines a year ago for the Super Bee and two years ago for the Road Runner with no complaints. They are too expensive but what isn't. I almost feel guilty laying 50 feet of hash when I want to.
 
$300 per tire.
But when paired with a Bee with Magnums, they are gorgeous.
