Here are some new pics and a link to a video of our project car. We sanded and primed the hood, the rest is how we got the car. http://s1380.photobucket.com/user/nikkizimmer/media/Mobile Uploads/2016-09/20160906_130536_zpsbnvzhudz.mp4.html

I forgot that I had this thread started and I keep posting our progress in the "What did you do to your Mopar today" thread. :BangHead:

Here's where we are at right know. My son has decided he wants to do a complete tear down so the car is fresh from top to bottom. Some of you have seen our pic and progress in the other thread but I am going to repost them here to get this back up to date.

That's awesome project for the both of you. I've always thought the power bulge hood on those cars was thing of beauty. Any idea of what kind of build your going to do?

His vision is to keep the outside of the body stock, paint it dark blue, something like midnight blue and a black stripe. Lift the rear a bit, lower the front a bit. For the interior he wants all fabric, black and gray with matching blue trim from the outside color. Then upgrade the interior with all new up to date electronics, gauges, radio and maybe try and add power windows. I would say he wants the outside to look like a sleeper but go high-tech on the inside. I don't know what you would call it but I can't wait to see it finnished. He has a long way to go, he does not get paid that much for his first job but he works hard at it so mom and dad will chip in to help. Latest pics, we are hoping to have the motor and transmission out by Wednesday.

I love the car and looking forward to watching the progress! I had a 73 Roadrunner for my first car and still regret getting rid of it. I am really digging the Times New Roman font for the Plymouth on the back.
