This is a beautiful setting on Lake St.Clair, next to the GPYC. There is a marina, lakefront walk, pier, and a beautiful big-tree park setting. This park is generally only open to residents, and I'm looking to see if anybody has a really nice,drive-able ride to this event. This will be a growing event, and is sure to be a "must-do" in the future. Joe Pappas is bringing one of the "Mopar/Motown Missile" cars. If you have a nice [any brand] car, pre-1990...bring it out. There will be cider-donuts, free hotdog, chips, pop[for car owner/driver]....dash plaques, and several trophies. Music will be non-blaring... 60's, 70's, and 80's tunes. There is a concession stand. I used to run the security at this park for the Dept of Public Safety, some time ago. Nice place!!! See and please complete/return entry for my wife to get proper amounts of supplies/food. This is the 1st time, and should be a great start. Pre-registered folks will get dash plaques, until they run out. We have no idea how many will attend....but hoping for at least 100. NO TRAILERED CARS, unless it's something spectacular.

Thanks, and enjoy....Mike Ricketts/ Macomb Missile.

Joe is bringing the Motown Missile/71 Challenger. It just won the Concour D'Elegance at St. Johns.

looks like it'll be a fun show. Wish my car was back together. Maybe next year. Good luck with it.

Hi folks. It's imperative that people that plan to attend this show, call or email the contact info[above]. This is a first time show, and a rough head-count will be very helpful in the planning of supplies. Please contact as a courtesy.

Thanks, Mike Ricketts/Macomb Missile.

Wish I was closer....would love to go. Sounds like a great event and well organized.

Enjoy and hope the weather is cooler than down here in TN.

Thanks. I hope we don't have rain or snow....anything else is cake!

Looks like we have at least 30 people who've bothered to pre-register. A nice variety of cars, to boot. It's looking kinda mopar heavy at this point. The oldest mopar being a 50 Plymouth, so far. I think it may be a good turnout.

We have several cars from the 20's-40's, and the Ford Mansion[in Grosse Pointe Shores] is trailering over one of their cars.

Good luck with it. I'd love to come over but my wife has relatives coming in from MA.

I wouldn't drive from Lansing anyways....at least not for the 1st show. May be great...maybe not so much so. The venue is outstanding, though.

Wow, Fantastic car. Bet my neighbor would love to see that. He has a 1930 Dodge Brothers sedan, not even close to that level of car but it's a very nice car. He's got it running and driving quite well. First year of the straight 8. Been in his family for a long long time.

We need more Fords and GM cars....LOL. My wife said it looks like a mopar show. Anybody else interested...head on down. It's supposed to be high 70's and just a few clouds.

Friday 5:30........a few brand-x vehicles have registered. Now all we need is the weather to cooperate.

Went great!! Beautiful weather, a breeze off the lake, good turn-out, and lots of nice people and rides. I don't take pics at shows, so..........
It'll be bigger and better, next year. Already got some great ideas for next year.

Good to hear. It does look like a great day outside. Maybe next year I can try to come over to it.
