RV2 compressor oil and seal questions

I realize an O’Reilly rebuilt is not the best way to go but I am going to give one a try. Which oil should I use; PAG 100 or PAG 46? Retro Air and most web sources say 100 but a seemingly knowledgeable tech person at 4 Seasons said to use 46.

I will use a metal gasket at the compressor suction connection instead of the supplied paper type gasket. Does the raised portion of the metal gasket go towards the compressor or the tubing flange (or does it matter)?

Has anyone ever used Nylog Gasket Thread Sealant and Assembly Lube? I am considering using it on all the O-rings and gaskets.

Should be a level on the compressor that should answer that question. If not look up the compressor and model and there should be a listing

just lubed the o-rings with some pag oil.
