Big Block oil pump removal

Hello

Could anyone give tips on oil pump removal for 400 big block?

I have the (4) 9/16" mounting bolts removed (I assume the 1/2) bolts are just for the cover to body of the pump bolts?

The pump wont budge?

Also is there enough room to remove and reinstall without jacking the motor? It the pictures it looks like I'll need some clearance for the snout of the pump when it finally comes out.

sometimes the gasket sticks to the pump and block and may need a tap from a plastic mallet. should come out without raising the engine.

That did the trick. I took a couple of good whacks to break it free.
