Hmmm. How do I replace these bushings? The two mounts are welded solid, no way to get the old out without cutting or tearing. Also, the replacement bushings I received from PST are round whereas these are triangular. I could cut one of the welds to r & r and reweld but the bushings are different.

Are these stock? Are they modified stock? They fit like factory as far as I can tell.

Cut the weld at one end of the strap, bend it back enough to remove the old bushing, install the new bushing, reweld it together.
That's the general way that most folks do that job.
You got the wrong bushings.
Energy Suspension, is a good source.

Your original bushings look ok to me.
Ya know, i thought the same thing when i looked at the pictures.
But i kept my mouth shut, and fingers off the keyboard, thinking if the op wants to change the bushings, that's his business, why he's asking how it's done.

If they look ok I will leave them, less work for me. I will need to contact PST to exchange these out since they came with the kit I bought and save them for the future. Thanks for the help!

I know this is from last year, but Today I was trying to replace the stock sway bar bushings with the Energy Suspension ones.
I was able to pop the old bushings out with a screw drive. They were hard a rock. The energy suspension instructions say to use channel lock pliers to pop the new bushing in, but I was not having any luck with that. Is there any trick, or simple tool to pop them is, or is it just easier to to cut them and re-weld them?
The the bracket for one bushing I was working on does have a slight ding in it that may be making it more difficult. I did not try the other side bushing because I jamed a screwdriver into my hand (not too bad, but bleeding) working on the first bushing.

IIRC, the FSM says to remove and DISCARD the whole bar!

When replacing some bushings on our combine we use windex on the rubber to lubricate when pressing in. It dries with no residue and will not harm rubber.

Are you using urethane? Those might be hard to slip in. If you are using rubber, yes, lube them up with windex or vasoline and fight them in there. They will be tight.
