since not getting any love at shows w/ the black steelies, I swapped to the Mag 500's and went 2 for 2...coincidence? IDK...

those magunm 500 wheels are made for mopars,brings your car out of that plain jane black wheel look,which i never liked on mopars,car looks bad *** with 500 wheels on.black wheels can get by on some race cars and 1950 cars.
 
Contrary to popular opinion here, I never was a big fan of the steely look. The magnums look great. Very hard to predict what a show judge will think about a certain combination. Some I've known are very knowledgeable and have good taste, others wouldn't know a well detailed car from a clapped out beater, just as long as it's a something they recognize.

I "personally" like that "much better" than the plain black steely's
IMO it gives it a bit more bling/class...

unless it's an OE 69.5 A12 car, than it could have the steely's
I still like aftermarket wheels better thou, that's just me maybe...

Even more so,
I like Day 2 cars mostly thou, aftermarket vintage looking wheels,
"Mags" {Magnesium}, Halibrands are my favorite,
than the lakesters or slat flat styles wheels, Like US Mags
kidney bean slots, as cast/with polished outers or completely polished
more than off the showroom looks, but still the era correct vintage vibe...

just my $0.02 cent

Anything looks better with mag 500's. Hell, any and all Buicks with the GS wheels looks good. Before and after.
