Hello All,
I have a long story but I'll make it as short as possible. Not car related but Hemi/dragboat related.
My dad owned a Schiada flatbottom with a blown 426 Street-Hemi back when I was about 6 years old. I'm now 44. Going on 10 years ago I found the boat (with a BBC) and started restoring it. There was no information with what happened to the Hemi. In 2014, a friend of a friend says he knows a guy that bought a Hemi from a boat guy in the 80's and that said Hemi hadn't moved from its spot in the garage since then. It turns out that it was the motor. Fast-forward to today...boat is fully restored and painted. Engine is now a 470", 10-71 blown, Hilborn injected and just needs odds and ends. I joined this forum to help get some advice or leads on some parts. I'll try and add some 80's pictures and current pictures as soon as I figure out how to use this app on my phone. Lol

Awsome boat, I had a 68 Raysoncraft V-drive with a 440, can't imagine a blown hemi.

Cool boat, I love old flat bottoms, especially Hemi equipped,
use to live next-door to Crazy Horse BFF record owners...
In Pleasant Hill Ca., use to attend a bunch of IHBA events with them too...

welcome to FBBO, from NorCal

That's so cool! Crazy Horse is one of my all time favorites.
