I'm looking into doing the conversion, I was wondering if anyone here has done it and could give some headsup/tips? Is it easy/straight forward? cut/drill/weld the brackets etc..

My car is a 68 coronet so which model parts should I be looking for? RT I believe?

It would be great if someone could let me know what parts/list exactly I would need, to make things easier.

p.s if someone has parts for sale, PM :)

Thanks in advance!

I'm taking on the same project myself in a '66 charger. In my case will be going from three on the tree to 4 on the floor.
You didn't say but I'm guessing you're going to be working with an automatic. I have two auto consoles for a '68 b body if interested.

Sorry, yes automatic. Sending you a msg shortly

Thanks

They sell entire kits for these but you're going to need the pedal assembly, tunnel sheet metal (which needs to be cut and welded) and of course transmission, shifter and linkage. That's off the top of my head but it's not impossible just kinda a pain. Lots of info on the net on this.

I think you misunderstood or maybe I made an error.

My car is an auto & I'm keeping it auto. Just wanting to change from column to floor shift.

He may have been referring to my column to floor shifter swap. I have all the parts to do mine, I just need time.
