'68 Coronet 500 Grille

My 500 was in an accident long ago and several parts where replaced. On the headlight trim there is a feature stamped in the sheet metal that make it look like small squares (to mimic the center grill). On one side the black paint is in small squares with fine lines of the brightwork of the metal showing through looking like a spider web almost. On the other it is completely painted in black.

Which is correct?

The one showing the extra detail is correct for the R/T and the 500 according to my '68 parts book.
