Hello, anyone have any suggestions on a good cheap performance air filter that will fit in the stock housing on a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner 383? I found the
aFe Pro Dry S Air Filter Elements 11-10022 but it is rather expensive at $50. Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks!

This is going to sound crazy, but, the highest flowing filter is a new paper filter.
After that, the after market filters have the ability to maintain there flow over a longer period of time even when dirty. Considering there reuses me, $50 is a bargain over the long term.

I paid $40-something for a K&N. It is still in use some 20 years later.

What????
Perhaps the better they filter the less they perform?
