Core is fine as long as it's rebuildable. Single field, double pulley. Ideally with date code for 19Dec68 build.

Edit: single pulley OK

Is 12/19/68 the build date for your car? Was asking since the old rule of thumb was that it is acceptable to have date coded parts like this from within three months of the build date.
 
I have 2 , Ill check the dates.. I might of already did a rebuild on them..

Yes, 12/19/68 build date (69 Charger). Most folks say 4-6 weeks, but anything within 3 months probably ok.

I have a 2875724 date 44-68 ie late Oct- Nov 3rd build. Near perfect for your car build. Clear markings.
