I would like to see 500 mile races that improve market place technology.
Isn't that feasible?
Have some basic rules regarding what type of production car can be run.
Family sedans and like the old production figure rule.
Have some basic safety rules for modifications.
The way it is now I really question whether drivers have to exercise good driving practices to avoid getting killed..

From what I have been told NASCAR was against dodge & Plymouth in the 60s & 70s. Adding more weight, less HP, banning the super bird & Daytona.

I quit watching about 25 years ago. I miss the old nascar with good ole American Iron. Now we make deals in the pits and take someone out if you don't like them. Yesteryear it was great driving and great production type cars for the win.

IMO we need all the big 3 in NASCAR
Hell VW was going to come in at one time "allegedly",
before all the Diesel Scam/fraud problems,
couldn't be any worse than Toyota winning a bunch of races etc.
I'd rather at-least see a Mopar/Dodge brand than Toyota...

Chevy, Ford, Toyota or a what ever just a manufactures name and sponsor name or is there really a difference in the car any more? My understanding was NASCAR had that all locked up so no one team had a advantage anymore.

Screw Not-a-car! As soon as Dodge starts dominating they will change the rules.They have never allowed Dodge to compete the way they are capable of. History tells us that. Get into Indycar just to snub their nose at Nascar. Nascar is begging for ratings & is looking for Dodge to save it.lol
