Does anyone have the correct paint code for a green dash from a 69 RR. I believe the color is BAYOU green. I have spent hours trying to find a match and have had no luck. I took my dash and steering column in to get scanned. They had no luck with scanning it.

I they also tell me that there will be no texture. That is a problem because from my understanding the suede finish has texture.

I was told they add a flattener to the same color as the paint color in the interior. Can't swear to it.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I did find the paint for the dash at a local paint store. It's a lacquer. Should I use epoxy primer or self etch on the dash. The dash has been stripped to bare metal?

Got my 69 dark green from Classic Ind. It is close enough for me

I'm in the same boat as you. My local paint shop still mixes acrylic lacquer which is what the original stuff was. I'm going to try my luck at them scanning the green (Catawba) in my '68 Charger

Herb's parts.

genuine Mopar colors

If I recommend Heb one more time I'm gonna ask for a commission!

Guys,

I need some help with getting this dash ready for paint. The dash has been plastic media blasted and now I am sanding it by hand with 320 paper. It looks like the dash never had primer. Can I just shoot the ppg duracryl on the dash or is it best to shoot a specific primer first? Any techniques to shooting this textured sued dash paint?

No need for primer. It will never see weather. Paint it in several coats. several light coats are better than 1 or 2 heavy coats. Let us know how it turns out
