I spent quite a few hours searching for a good B Body Forum and finally found this great site. My name is Richard and live hear in Oregon. I've wanted a B Body since I was a senior in High School (1970). Something always seemed to be going on so I never got one. After High School, Uncle Sam offered me a trip to Southeast Asia, then a wife, then a family. I think I'm not the only one that seemed to not get around to getting a B Body. I like all of these B Bodies; RoadRunner, Fury, Savoy, SuperBee, etc. I've had GTO's, Impala's, and a Gran Sport, but always wanted that Mopar. Its been 46 years since High School, and a couple of months ago a 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T came up for sale. I took my wife with me to see it, and she said "buy it".

The car is in fair condition. The previous two owners seemed to of taken some care of it; no rust or dents, 104,438 miles. Plumb Crazy Purple, 440 Magnum, 727, Dana 60, Ralye Gauges, white interior, buckets, console, Clock/Tach. The R/T however does need work as it has electrical and some mechanical issues. I hope to get a lot of help from all you Mopar experts as I know very little about Mopars. This site really impresses me with what a lot of you Mopar folks have done with your cars. Thanks, Richard

Keep Plumcrazy cars in a garage.
Sun makes the metallic lift and dull.
Saw many in junkyards that had been repainted another colorafter someone got tired of trying to keep it shiny. But this was in an area with lots of acid rain, which left purple spots in my '66 PP1 bright red.
