I tried to sign up the other day and had some issues..apparently I signed up for this site a couple years ago and forgot all about it doh! I'm starting to get back on track with my long time project car: 68 Satellite that I got back in 2000...It was(still is!) rough, body's not too bad but the interior was only half there, 318 and trans were on their last leg...A/C and heater had previously been torn out, among other things. I've added a 440(10 to 1 CR, Eddy RPM heads and intake, headers, comp XE274 cam, speed demon 850) a 727, and have a 742 3rd ready to be built to go in place of the stock open 741..I don't feel the need to beat on it at the track as much as I used to, so the plan is to be a drivable thumper with hopefully high 12sec capabilities. At the moment I'm working on my uncle's car too, he has a 68 GTX, nice original but had to find a motor and trans for it.(the old guy is largely responsible for my own love of mopars, so I'm helping him out)...can't wait to get his done so I can concentrate on my beast though!
