Hello everyone

Was looking on the web for info and came across this place...looks like a great source of help and inspiration.

I live in the U.K. recently picked up a'66 Charger. This my first MOPAR, having enjoyed a fair few US vehicles over the years. It is a survivor/project, needing a few things sorting but nowhere near as much as my '63 c10 (can I say that here?)

From the VIN decode it's from the Lynch Rd plant and is a 318ci LA engine. I'm happy with the small block as fuel prices over here would make your eyes water.

I love it to death already, to my eyes it's a beautiful car and as rare as they come.

That's me for now, I will be found lurking in between removing bad overspray and rescuing what's left of the original saddle bronze paint....while the new steering pump and recored rad is on order. :)

Welcome J1MMY! Yes, you can mention your other rides here. We have them too. More pics would be great! Since you've had other US cars, you must be use to left hand drive cars by now. If you need any help with parts, let me/us know.

Welcome to the site! I bet you don't see to many of those in the UK!

I had a 67 I was restoring. Parts are so hard to come by for these, I can't imagine what it is like over there!

Welcome from Indiana. Yes, you can say C10 here, but we wont like you anymore! (sarcasm) Just refer to it as a D100 and everything will be fine.

Wow that's a pretty big welcome!

I am just heading to work now, but I will return with responses later. I do all my browsing on a smart(ish) phone so it takes a while to get through threads.

Yep I started a thread in the projects section and will pop pics up over there.

Thank you everyone. :)

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal

Thanks guys :)

I stand corrected, it's a poly motor. Explains the sawtooth rocker covers and sheer size of the 'small block' :D
