My 14y.o. and I just got a 1967 charger 383 four barrel that is a bit of a family heirloom. My cousin bought the car brand new. He said he picked it because it could fit his full sized harp. I think the big mopar power plant might have influenced the decision a little. Anyway it was garaged it 1985 and didn't come out again until the early 2000's when my brother got it from him. Unfortunately for him life got too busy and so the car just sat until a few months ago when my son and I successfully talked him into giving the car to us.
She runs but a little rough. I think a brake job, tires, and fixing the burned/melted contacts on the bulkhead connection will see her back on the road in no time.

Nice! Turquoise with white interior, gonna be one sharp car when it's finished. Enjoy the father son project!
